U14 Boys vs West Bridgeford

From the very start of this game our boys came flying out of the blocks.

Wave after wave after wave of attacks. It honestly looked at times like we had 3 more players on the pitch than West Bridgeford had. We had the majority of the possession, we shut down most of their attacks before they got anywhere near the D, we moved well on and off the ball, the communication, the passing..... all of it was excellent. But they had a wall in goal!

The WB keeper was by far their best player on the pitch today. No matter what we threw at him, he was not letting anything get past. Our boys must have had 40 shots today, and he saved everything.

Maybe our finishing is something to work on in training a little, but any other keeper that Charnleigh have faced this season would have easily conceded 10 - 15 goals today.

That was probably our best team performance to date, and by far the most one sided draw I've ever seen.

If we can take that kind of play into any other game we'll walk away with points.

But today it seemed their keeper had an extra few Weetabix this morning.

Somehow 0-0!!
