about Ladies 2
Ladies 2s are captained by Joanne Wilson and play in Midlands Women's Division 5 East Central.
The team are going into their 3rd season and are the perfect platform for young players who are moving up into senior women's hockey or those players who are looking to get back into hockey.
The first season was very much a steep learning curve for the newly formed squad but last season there was a noticeable improvement as players really started to grow and find their feet. Numerous juniors made impressive debuts, some of the 'back to hockey' players shook the cobwebs away and showed us what they could do, and 1 or 2 players were drafted into the first team, making appearances that in no way looked out of place.
We look forward to this season and look to build and grow in strength.
