Charnwood Forest Hockey Club Men's 1st play in Division 3 East of the Men's Midlands Hockey League.
Overall the season of 2024/25 was a good one, the team went into the season with hopes and aspirations of filling one of those two promotional spots. Even with how many competitive teams that would also be pushing for them.
The first half of the season the team had a good run only loosing two games from september to christmas, this was to eventually the league winners and third place.
Sadly after christmas goals and aims started to fade out as the team went winless in January, resulting in team finishing mid table. Despite not being able to take poll position the team arguably played some of the best hockey in the division and the team the debuted several young players, some aged 13- 14 and slighter older lads, who proved they can play at this level, making the clubs future look very promising.
Men's 1s aim to build on the success achieve in the new season and welcome new experienced players to support them in this quest.
