about Badgers
Badgers is a development league for younger players making their first steps from youth hockey into full pitch 11-a-side games. Matches are organised between participating East Midlands based clubs, played as friendlies and without a league table.
The team is largely made up of under 16s who are starting to transition into adult hockey and can consist of a mixture of boys and girls.
Up to two experienced senior hockey players may also play in the team to support the juniors on the pitch and teach them some of the important skills required and help them to become good effective team players.
